Gorgeous Lamu

Ten Things to do in Lamu/Shela

Lamu is a peacefully, quiet and half-forgotten island to visit especially if you’re looking for a quiet, romantic or retreat place to visit, Shela is part of Lamu an island in Kenya.
I was able to explore the old city, it feels somewhat adventurous by walking around and getting lost in the labyrinth of the small and narrow streets, meeting donkeys, Views from the ancient Swahili houses, relaxing at shela beach, Swimming in the Indian ocean, walking in dunes, trying on henna and watching sunsets in the evening.

Muslim women in the middle east apply henna to their finger and toenails as well as their hands, in Shela you will find a Somalin lady who does on 500 Shillings, give yourself a chance to enjoy a fake tattoo lol there is no harm you won’t regret this.

Dune is on a hill of loose sand built by flow of water, are large masses of wind-blown sand, they are found near Shela beach and they are beautiful and hot Af because of the sun.
